ABOUT DENTAL INSURANCE
We accept most traditional insurance and will file your claim for you.
We are contracted network providers for most of the Anthem, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Delta Dental -Premier option.
No insurance policy attempts to cover all dental costs. Some plans pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge.
Our accounting department will prepare all of the necessary forms for this important benefit. However, we remind you that your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company, not between your insurance company and our office.
We can make no guarantee of any estimated coverage, but we will do our best to see that you receive your maximum benefits.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.
Please assist us by updating your insurance information as it changes.
Attention: Patients’ that have unused dental benefits!
Each year, patients miss out on scheduling the dental treatment they need, deserve and have insurance to cover, simply because time has slipped away.
We know life gets busy and before you know it, another year has come and gone and you have not seen your dentist.
Unfortunately, dental insurance dollars dont roll over into the next year, leading to a significant waste of your valuable insurance payments.
Bottom line: When it comes to dental insurance, what you dont use, you lost it.
Have you taken full advantage of your dental dollars?
Every year dental insurance companies make big bucks when you miss out on the full dollar amount of your coverage plan.
Dont let this be you!
Unlike medical insurance, dental insurance and dental plans provide you with an allotted amount of money to spend on your care each year.
This means you may have extra left over that will disappear if your dental plan, like many, renews in January!
It is always a good plan to try to maximize what your dental insurance will cover this year so that next years benefits can be used for any unexpected treatment that may come up.
Now is your chance to take full advantage of your dental insurance.
Call at our office today, and together lets make sure you are getting the full value of your insurance.
Do not wait; appointments may become very limited as we draw closer to the end of the year!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Remember, if you dont use it, you lose it!
Cosmetic procedures are generally not covered by most dental insurance policies; however, partial benefits are often available if the teeth are broken or have previous dental fillings, bonding, or crowns.
Also, most insurance companies will pay approximately 80% of the cost for silver fillings on posterior (molar and bicuspid) teeth. If a more expensive porcelain or tooth-colored filling material is used, the insurance company usually still pays their percentage based on the cost of the less expensive silver filling.
